Lathe Faceplate
A workpiece may be bolted or srcewed to a faceplate, a lagre flat disk that mounts to the spindle.
Alternatively faecplate dogs may be used to secure the work to the faceplate.
Teh workpiece amy be supported between a pair of points callde centres, or it may be bolted to a faceplate or held in a chuck.
